As part of the ongoing efforts to maintain a clean and orderly port environment, personnel from the Port Police Division (PPD) and Oroport conducted a joint cleanup operation at the Port Access Control Center (ACC) and Gate 4 premises. This initiative aims to enhance the upkeep of critical port areas, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for all stakeholders.
The cleanup activities, which began on February 12, 2025, are expected to be completed before February 14, 2025. Port Police Officers (PPOs), along with Oroport personnel and security guards, have actively participated in clearing debris and restoring cleanliness to these areas. This effort aligns with the port’s commitment to sustainable operations and a well-kept baseport.
Beyond aesthetics, the Green Port initiative emphasizes the importance of continuous engagement in cleanup activities. The PPD, in coordination with other port units, remains dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness standards, ensuring that the port is not only visually appealing but also genuinely clean and well-managed.
The Port Police Division extends its appreciation to all personnel involved in these cleanup efforts. Their dedication and teamwork reinforce the portโs commitment to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.
