The Port of Benoni is located in the southern part of the Municipality of Mahinog, Camiguin Island particularly at Latitude 9º 08’ 21.3’’ North and Longitude 124º 47’ 40.7’’ East. The port is located along the highway. It caters to domestic vessels and handles rolling cargoes, fuel, bottled and general cargoes. It has direct and regular voyages to Balingoan.

The port which serves as the main entry point to Camiguin and as one of the complementary ports of the Port of Balingoan, caters direct and regular voyages to Balingoan Port, Misamis Oriental. Among the three (3) ports in Camiguin, the Port of Benoni mainly handles passengers to and from the Island, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Health and safety measures are implemented in ports and with the assistance and support also of the Provincial LGU of Camiguin, the Port of Benoni has one (1) thermal scanner installed for the non-contact temperature screening of all passengers, port personnel and clients.
 
For optimum port security, twenty-five (25) surveillance cameras were installed around the ports. The surveillance system is closely monitored by Beyondsight Philippines, Inc. for any incident/accident including observation on the compliance with the minimum public health standards by the port users. Incident reports are promptly relayed to the Port Management Office in Cagayan de Oro for appropriate action.

Its port facilities include three (3) RoRo ramps, 860.0 sq.m, Reinforced Concrete (RC) wharf and 540.52 m. R.C. pier, 71.0m x 9.0m continuous ramp,  a Passenger Terminal Building and Terminal Office, flood lights and solar-based lighting system, and 1 unit 300 KVA generator set, among others.

Cargo handling operations is being handles by the Balbagon Arrastre, Stevedoring and Porterage Services (BASPS). Shipping lines serving the Benoni-Balingoan route are Philstone Shipping Corporation, Asian Marine Transport Corporation, Davemyr Shipping Lines and Hijos de Juan Corrales Shipping Lines.
