In view of the ongoing comprehensive review on the real estate management policy of the Philippine Ports Authority, interim guidelines for the renewal of applications for Permit to Occupy (PTOC) in leased areas in PPA ports was issued per PPA Administrative Order No. 03-2021.
The said A.O. promulgated that all existing approved PTOCs whether on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd renewal shall be valid until 31 December 2021; while only applications for fourth (4th) renewal received by the Office of the Assistant General Manager for Operations or Commercial Services Division not later than August 31, 2021 shall be processed. Submission of fourth renewal applications beyond August 31, 2021 shall no longer be accommodated and any PTOc shall be considered terminated for all intents and purposes.
All applications for renewal of lease shall be processed in accordance with the new guidelines that will be implemented starting 01 January 2021.
