The PMO MO/C’s Engineering Services Division (ESD) personnel presented the highlights of their accomplishments in Calendar Year 2023, OPCR ad Regular Division Commitments, Issues and Concerns, and Plans and Programs for CY 2024, held on 05 February 2024.

The ESD personnel provided a list of proposed plans and programs for CY 2024 taking into consideration the proposed projects from the other divisions concerning their area of responsibility. Also highlighted were the Job Orders requested by other divisions that were accomplished by the ESD personnel.

Port Manager Isidro V. Butaslac, Jr. emphasized how crucial the role of the Engineering Services Division is in the daily port operations. PM Butaslac shared the importance of how the repair and maintenance of port facilities ensures the efficient and safe operations of the port may it be a simple replacement of a light bulb for sufficient illumination to the port users or a repair of a damaged perimeter fence to ensure the safety and security of the port from outsiders.

The Division Level Conference 2023 served as a platform for the ESD personnel to exchange ideas, share their expertise and best practices, and raise issues and concerns that may greatly affect the port’s operations. It is also a discussion with the other divisions to set goals and develop action plans to help improve and enhance the division’s performance.
