Honest security guards at the Port of Cagayan de Oro returned a lady’s bag that contained more than P14,000.00 and personal belongings left by an outbound passenger at the baggage x-ray machine on 03 April 2019.

PPA-hired security guards on duty McJohn V. Porras and Ramon M. Adrayan turned-over to the Port Police Division (PPD) at around 10:00 PM of even date a black bag left by a Cebu-bound passenger identified as Losel Honey Allosada at the Terminal Facility-1 baggage x-ray machine. Through the contact numbers found inside the item, the PPD personnel were able to communicate with the owner who was already in Cebu. Allosada instead recommended her mother to claim the bag on her behalf.

The bag was returned to Allosada’s mother, Creselda C. Allosada on 05 April 2019 at the PMO MOC building after she presented the necessary identification documents for veracity of identity.

Pasalamat kaayo ko na nauli kay pwede ra gyud to makuha,” Mrs. Allosada expressed.

The security guards, on the other hand, were also thankful that they were the ones who discovered the bag and properly turned it over to the Port Police Division for safekeeping.

Pasalamat sab mi na kami nakakuha, wala nakuha sa lain tao,” SG Adrayan told.
