At the around 0935 hours of January 25, 2024, the Command Center received a crucial call from Acting Harbor Master Jonathan Saliring and Acting Station Commander of the Port Police Division, CPPO Zaldy Magtagad. Their immediate action and collaboration prompted the undersigned to urgently reach out to ORO Rescue due to a distressing situation on board MV Lite Ferry 19.

Acting Harbor Master, Jonathan Saliring and Acting Station Commander, CPPO Zaldy Magtagad provided critical information, urging the undersigned to request emergency assistance for Ms. Liza Dalida, a 47-year-old passenger from Cebu, currently residing in Malita, Davao Occidental. Ms. Dalida displayed symptoms of dizziness, potentially linked to high blood pressure.

Command Center’s Prompt Action:

The Command Center wasted no time and immediately contacted ORO Rescue. Remarkably, the ambulance and its dedicated crew arrived swiftly at MOL 0952H. The coordinated efforts of PPO3 Arnel Taqueban and Security-In-Charge Gilbert Peligrin ensured a seamless assistance process.

PPO3 Arnel Taqueban and Security-In-Charge Gilbert Peligrin from PPD played a crucial role in assisting ORO Rescue upon their arrival. Their quick response and collaboration with the medical team demonstrated exemplary dedication to ensuring the well-being of the passenger.

Medical Response Details:

Upon assessment, the patient, Ms. Liza Dalida, was found to have a blood pressure reading of 163/115. The ambulance efficiently transported the patient to the nearest hospital for further medical attention.
