BASEPORT, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – In an effort to improve the efficiency and convenience of passenger travel, the Port Management Office (PMO) of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro is pleased to announce the launch of a new process flow for Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) vehicles, including Type 1 and Type 2 vehicles at the Passenger Terminal Complex. This new system, set to take effect on January 26, 2025, marks a significant step in the continued development of port services aimed at enhancing the overall passenger experience.

The new process flow is designed to separate and streamline the movement of RORO Type 1 (motorcycles, tricycles, scooters) and RORO Type 2 (cars, minivans, SUVs, AUVs, jeeps, and PUJs with a capacity of 16 passengers or fewer) vehicles. This will not only enhance the safety of passengers but also improve traffic management within the terminal, ensuring better coordination between vehicle loading and unloading.
