At approximately 1 PM, Security Guard (SG) Johnny Sebial observed her at the Passenger Shed, visibly pale and weak while cradling her child. The 19-year-old mother, grappling with marital problems and financial constraints, expressed her earnest desire to return to her hometown in Mahinog, Camiguin. Responding to the urgency of the situation, SG Sebial took the initiative to assist the distressed mother.

Empathizing with her predicament, SG Sebial used his own money to purchase food and a boat ticket for her and her child willingly. Additionally, he ensured her comfort by guiding her into the Passenger Terminal Building (PTB). Recognizing the severity of her condition, the TMO Balingoan staff went above and beyond to provide further assistance.

Demonstrating a sense of solidarity, TMO personnel voluntarily pooled resources to contribute financially, ensuring her safe journey to her destination in Camiguin. This collective effort showcased the community spirit within the TMO Balingoan, emphasizing their commitment to helping those in need and fostering a supportive environment for all passengers.

With the assistance of TMO Balingoan staff, she was later escorted onboard MV Super Shuttle Ferry 17, providing her with the means to reunite with her family in Mahinog, Camiguin. The incident serves as a poignant reminder of the profound impact a small act of kindness can have on individuals facing adversity, highlighting TMO Balingoan’s dedication to the well-being of all passengers passing through their terminal.
