To better the nation’s economy, accommodate passengers, and raise the bar for maritime transport, an addition of 2Go’s M series – MV MASIGLA with Voyage Number 09 made its maiden voyage in Cagayan de Oro today, April 18, 2024. MV Masigla arrived at 10:36 in the morning from Port of Iloilo, with a speed/course of 13.5kn / 142° and a total passenger of 459.

PPA PMO MO/C personnel, headed by Port Services Division Manager, Ms. Ruby Maria O. Gumapon, together with 2Go’s personnel, headed by 2Go’s Branch Manager, Ms. Laiza H. Bacsarsa had a tour inside the ship and greeted with such passion and genuine warmth by the 2Go MV Masigla’s team and their Vessel Master, Capt. Eduardo Real.

The MV Masigla is a Passenger/Ro-Ro Cargo ship that provides a more opulent and convenient way to travel and transport cargoes between Manila-Bacolod-Iloilo-Cagayan de Oro-Iloilo-Manila. Along with hotel-style accommodations, fully equipped salon, fun karaoke rooms, and restaurant-style meals, the passengers may enjoy freshly brewed beverages from Café 2GO and retail stores with popular names like MINISO, QuikMart, and Watsons.

The ship has a total Gross Registered Tonnage (GRT) of 19,708.0, with a total Deadweight (DWT) of 2,657, and Length Overall (LOA) of 163.57. MV Masigla will depart from Port of Cagayan de Oro on the same day at estimated time of 7:30 in the evening.

Travelers and business people lives will undoubtedly be made easier and less complicated by this new extra vessel route to and from the Port of Cagayan de Oro. Additionally, this will undoubtedly support increased tourism and the local economy in the city and its neighboring areas.
