Cagayan de Oro – In a gesture of goodwill and diplomatic engagement, the Consulate General of Japan in Davao visited the Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) today June 04, 2025.
The visit aims to further strengthen the longstanding ties between Japan and the Philippines, particularly in the Northern Mindanao region. Through this engagement, the Consulate General seeks to foster mutual understanding and explore areas of possible collaboration, especially in matters concerning port operations, maritime safety, and trade facilitation.
The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro, being one of the busiest and most vital gateways in Mindanao, plays a crucial role in regional commerce and international shipping.
