Cagayan de Oro City — The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) proudly took part in the Brigada Eskwela 2025 Kickoff Ceremony today, June 2, 2025, at Macabalan National High School. This year’s theme, “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama para sa BAYANG BUMABASA,” underscores the importance of unified efforts to prepare schools for the upcoming academic year while advancing literacy initiatives.

Led by PMO MOC personnel, the office expressed its steadfast commitment to support local education initiatives by participating in the Signing of Stakeholders’ Commitment of Support. This symbolic pledge signifies PMO MOC’s dedication to fostering safe, clean, and conducive learning environments for students in the community.

As part of its continued involvement, the PMO MOC is also set to extend hands-on assistance during the scheduled Brigada Eskwela activities on June 10, 2025. PMO volunteers will join the school’s clean-up drive. In addition, the office will be providing donations of cleaning materials and supplies to help ensure a safe and well-equipped school environment for both learners and teachers.

The Brigada Eskwela program continues to be a meaningful opportunity for government agencies, private organizations, and civic-minded individuals to come together and contribute towards the welfare of Filipino students.
