The Philippine Ports Authority – Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PPA PMO MOC) continues to prioritize the fast-tracking of port-related improvement projects as it successfully conducted the Pre-Construction Meeting for the 3rd Batch of Small Value Procurement (SVP) Projects earlier today, July 14, 2025.

The meeting was attended by all personnel from the Engineering Services Division (ESD), who were prepared to address all inquiries, concerns, and necessary preparations of the contractors invited and present. Discussions also covered vital aspects such as safety protocols, security requirements, and environmental awareness to ensure a smooth project implementation.

With a utilization rate nearing 50%, PMO MOC remains committed to the timely and efficient execution of its infrastructure initiatives. The 3rd batch of SVP projects includes maintenance works on cabling and LAN systems, improvements at the Port Police Division Quarters, and rehabilitation of walkways along the Baseport and Terminal Ports, among others.

Through strategic planning with the firm direction of the Port Manager, the PMO strengthens its mission to provide safe, reliable, and modern port facilities—ensuring continued service excellence and infrastructure readiness across its jurisdiction.
