The Terminal Management Office (TMO) Opol joined the 3rd Quarter Adopt-an-Estero/Waterbody Program Clean-Up Activity on August 15, 2026, collecting around 53 kilograms of waste, equivalent to two sacks of garbage, along the coastal stretch from Panagatan Restaurant to the Port of Opol. The clean-up was conducted from 5:30 A.M. to 7:00 A.M.
TMO Opol participated as an official adopter under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Adopt-an-Estero/Waterbody Program, which promotes proper waste management and the protection of waterways and coastal areas.
The activity showed TMO Opol’s role as a program adopter in helping maintain the cleanliness of the coastal area near the port and supporting efforts to keep waterways and surrounding areas free from waste.
