The Philippine Ports Authority – Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PPA PMO MO/C) successfully conducted the General Assembly on the Reorientation of Contract of Service (COS) Personnel: Revisiting PMO Issuances, Personnel Assessment Form (PAF), Office Decorum, and Contract of Service Policies on 04 August 2026.
The activity was attended by 153 Contract of Service (COS) personnel, composed of 87 males and 66 females, from the Baseport and the Terminal Management Offices (TMOs) of Camiguin, Balingoan, and Opol. The Port Manager and Division Heads also joined the assembly.
The program commenced with an opening message from Ms. Daisy P. Tangcalagan, Administrative Division Manager, who emphasized the importance of understanding and complying with the existing rules and policies of the office.
Ms. Tangcalagan also discussed the COS Guidelines, followed by Atty. Roel Q. Madera, Acting Port Services Division Manager, who presented the key provisions of the Contract of Service. Meanwhile, Ms. Cherryl C. Padilla, Administrative Officer IV, discussed the PMO MO/C COS Issuances, Personnel Assessment Form (PAF), and Office Decorum.
An Open Forum followed the presentations, providing the participants with an opportunity to raise questions, seek clarifications, and gain a better understanding of the matters discussed.
The assembly concluded with a message from the Port Manager, emphasizing the importance of consistently upholding professionalism, integrity, and accountability in the performance of their respective duties and responsibilities.
The activity served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen the understanding of COS personnel regarding their roles, responsibilities, office policies, and expected standards of conduct, while reinforcing the commitment of PPA PMO MO/C to maintaining a professional, accountable, and service-oriented workforce.
