Cagayan de Oro City— The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO-MOC) under the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) turned over relief goods to families affected by the recent fire incident in Barangay Consolacion, Cagayan de Oro City on October 8, 2025. This initiative reflected PMO-MOC’s continuing commitment to extend compassion and support to the local community, especially during times of distress.

All donated items had been carefully sorted, packed, and were made ready for distribution to the affected residents. The donations included boxes of used clothing, two of which were Balikbayan boxes, and a total of 50 eco bags of relief packs. Each eco bag contained three kilograms of rice, two packs of noodles, six canned goods, three coffee sticks, three Milo sachets, two milk sachets, and four biscuits—basic necessities that helped ease the burden of the affected families.

Through this collective effort, PMO-MOC continued to embody the spirit of bayanihan by reaching out to those in need and providing comfort during challenging times.
