The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) sustained the momentum of the 26th National Maritime Week on August 20, 2025, with activities that highlighted safety preparedness and stakeholder engagement.

The day featured a Simulation Exercise aimed at strengthening the port community’s readiness and coordination in emergency situations. This practical activity tested protocols, enhanced cooperation among agencies, and reinforced the importance of vigilance in ensuring safety within the port and maritime sector.

In the afternoon, the celebration continued with the kapehan sa Pantalan, a meaningful dialogue that brought together stakeholders, port employees, and partners in the maritime industry. The session provided an open space for exchanging ideas, raising concerns, and exploring opportunities for stronger collaboration in promoting maritime safety, sustainability, and development.

Complementing these activities were the Friendship Games, which continued to build camaraderie and teamwork among PMO personnel. Day 3 not only underscored the importance of preparedness and cooperation but also affirmed PMO MOC’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships for the growth of the maritime sector.
