The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO MOC) continued its 26th National Maritime Week celebration on August 19, 2025, with activities that centered on awareness and creativity. The day began with the Maritime Forum which provided a meaningful platform for learning.

This event aims to provide maritime students with valuable insights into career opportunities, industry expectations, personal development, and the unique challenges and rewards of a seafaring profession, including the importance of family support and work-life balance.

In the afternoon, employees and participants showcased their artistry through the Poster-Making Contest, expressing this year’s theme “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity” in colorful and creative visual interpretations. The contest highlighted not only the talents of the participants but also their shared commitment to spreading awareness on maritime and environmental advocacies.

Alongside these, the Friendship Games continued, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among PMO MOC personnel. With these activities, Day 2 successfully blended knowledge-sharing, creativity, and fellowship in support of the weeklong celebration.
