The Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro (PMO-MOC) Seinor staff conducted a port inspection and coordination visit on May 23, 2025, covering the Ports of Jasaan, Balingoan, Medina, Gingoog, Magsaysay and Amadi in Lagonglong. The activity aimed to assess current port conditions, validate ongoing and proposed developments, and engage with local stakeholders on matters concerning port operations, infrastructure planning, and development initiatives.

The PMO MOC inspection team met with local government units and stakeholders to gather data, review project progress, and discuss operational concerns. Key areas of focus included infrastructure improvements in Jasaan, passenger facility enhancements in Balingoan, verification of port layout and land use planning in Medina, zoning coordination in Gingoog, and proposed development planning in Magsaysay.

Following the inspection, PMO-MOC’s way forward actions includes follow-ups on technical support, documentation, and coordination with relevant agencies.
